Irish comedy "The Holy Fail" / The Holy Fail, 2018, director, screenwriter, composer and performer of one of the main roles Owen Dara. Irish comedies are always very peculiar and this one fully fits into this concept, it is also very peculiar. A group of friends decides with the filing of one of them to rob his owner, who has long cheated on taxes and underpaid his employees. But everything goes through the stump and deck, the money for some time quite accidentally turns out to be in their hands, but literally until the morning, and in the morning one idiot from their group decides to take part of the money to charity in the monastery, however, takes the wrong part. The only person who has even a little brain work is the abbess of the monastery, who unravels their history and conducts educational activities with them. Since the story accidentally involves two of the same "high-level" policemen as these failed robbers, amused from idleness with stupid pranks, everything continues in the spirit of pranks and ends for everyone except the owner, who was robbed and even forced to fulfill all the requirements, OK. Comedy, to tell the truth, quite childish - not in the theme, but in embodiment, so slightly absurd, but at the same time beautiful. I will not recommend it, but whoever wants to see it. By the way, the film was awarded at some small film festivals. And the name still would be better translated as “Holy failure” or “Holy failure”, however, in Russian it does not sound like this.
